Smile
It was the kind of smile that could have meant anything, or more likely, nothing at all, that ingenious smile that she had. The ability to manipulate the people around her came easily. She had a spark in her eyes that could break anyone’s attention. The more you stare into her brown eyes, the deeper you fall into her world. Youāll see her as if she glows, lit from within. Everyone likes her; we all do. The worst part is, I’m in love with her, loved her as fully as a man could.
Twilights
A romantic affinity, lost in sheer futility,
Deceived by her outer beauty.
My noble chivalry struggles,
Like a strange, consuming illness.
Trapped in a void of time and space,
Feeling love race through the confusion.
Repentance and guilt show up too late
Caught in the twilight, he took the bait.
Audacity
Her brazen audacity strikes without warning,
Piercing my weeping, theatrical, poison-laced words
A senseless, fragile attempt at healing each day,
Drifting helplessly toward darkness and despair.
I buried my grief beneath the surface,
Feigning every dramatic emotion for the world,
Wearing hollow smiles of defiance and regret
Armor forged from bitter reflexes.
You carved a false eternity into my soul,
But at last, I have awakened from the nightmare.
Success is not about
Success is not about money, fame, gadgets or number of passport stamps. It’s about being humble enough to appreciate everything and everyone.
Don’t push your luck
Do not push your luck. It is beyond your control. Instead, think carefully about every decision you make and be responsible for it. Whenever you fail, learn from it. If a decision turns out well, do not credit luck. It is all about you being wise enough.
Big opportunity
Do not wait for your big opportunity. It will come in God’s time. Instead, do everything within your power to be ready and to maximize that opportunity when it arrives.
